Program Goals:

Program Philosophy:
The Corona Basketball program is committed to developing boys into young men of integrity and high character on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. Through our program pillars of attitude and effort, Corona del Sol Basketball will strive to be a program that is a source of pride for the school and community.
Head Coach Brad Minor
Coach Minor has worked with a wide range of talented athletes and has built a reputation for strong player development and a deep commitment to team culture. Most recently, he served as the inaugural head coach at Crismon High School, where he started the basketball program from the ground up and guided the team through two varsity seasons at the 3A and 4A levels. In addition to his high school coaching roles, he has been actively involved in youth basketball, helping to develop players at all ages.
Coach Minor's coaching staff brings energy, experience, and a shared vision for building a strong, competitive, and unified basketball culture at Corona del Sol.

Outside of basketball, Coach Minor has been a dedicated social studies teacher for more than 15 years and is a member of the teaching staff at Corona del Sol.
Coach Brad Minor is beginning his second year as head coach of the Corona del Sol Boys basketball program. Prior to joining Corona del Sol, he had 13 years of coaching experience across multiple levels of Arizona high school basketball. He began his coaching career at Ironwood Ridge High School in Oro Valley, Arizona where he coached under current Pima Community College coach Brian Peabody and helped lead the team to a 2009 state runner-up finish. He later spent 8 successful years at Perry High School as a JV coach and varsity assistant, contributing to the school’s 2022 6A state championship.
